Trampoline Spare Parts – How to Choose the Right Net, Mat and Springs
A well-maintained Buba trampoline lasts for many years. Over time, though, sun, rain and active play wear out the net, the jumping mat and the springs. The good news is that you don’t need to replace the whole trampoline – at Buba we think about our customers after the purchase too, which is why we keep original spare parts for every size of Buba trampoline. Simply replace the worn part.
Step 1: Find the size of your trampoline
The size in feet corresponds to the diameter of the frame: 6FT = 183 cm, 8FT = 244 cm, 10FT = 305 cm, 12FT = 366 cm, 14FT = 427 cm, 16FT = 488 cm. The size is also stated in the documents of your Buba trampoline. If you are not sure, measure the frame from one side to the opposite side through the centre.
Step 2: Count the springs
When replacing the jumping mat, the number of its hooks must match the number of springs:

Step 3: Check the type of net
Buba 8FT and 10FT trampolines with an inner net need an inner net and a sunshade made for this type of trampoline. All other models have an outer net.
When to replace parts
- Net – if it has torn threads or holes, or has thinned from the sun. Check it at the start of every season.
- Jumping mat – if the seams are torn, it has holes or it is badly faded.
- Springs – if they are stretched or rusty. They reduce the bounce and put strain on the mat.
- Spring cover – if it is faded and the springs show through.
