How to choose a kids’ play kitchen
A play kitchen is one of the best-loved role-play toys. Children “cook”, wash the dishes and serve the family – and along the way they learn the names of foods, train their hands and learn to keep things tidy.
Tips for choosing
- Height and space – the large kitchens are 68–93 cm tall and suit children aged 3 and up; measure the space in the room before ordering. Dimensions are listed in each product description.
- Effects – kitchens with running water, steam, lights and sounds make play more realistic. Water and steam need only a little water, and the effects run on batteries (the type is listed in the description).
